PRIEST INFORMATION

11) The wedding preparation by a priest at your local church is compulsory if you marry in Rome.

As the religious dimension has the priority, in order to properly file the request with the Roman Catholic authorities, you need to provide the name, address and phone number of the priest who is taking care of your preliminary wedding preparation in your Country.

12) You may invite your priest to travel with you, celebrate the mass at St. Peter’s/Santa Susanna’s or you may request a local North American priest in Rome celebrate the ceremony for you.

CHURCH ARRANGEMENTS

13) Please consider the month you would like to be married.

14) Understand that wedding requests at St. Peter’s have to be filed with Vatican State not before than six months and not later than four from chosen period.

15) Understand that wedding request at Santa Susanna can be filed with the religious authorities from twelve months up to six weeks prior chosen month. However, due to the limited validity of the religious documentation the ceremony cannot be confirmed before six months.
